  " It's High Time"; Was recorded in Charlotte, N.C.; at Gat 3 Studos.  Produced by: Mr. Keith Tyrone Jefferson, former band leader for the late great, " Godfather of Soul, Mr. James Brown", in the 80's & 90's.  Ms. High and Mr. Jefferson worked together on the road with Brown for many years. 

Ms. High took her project to him because she knew he would give his all to her project and he did! We started three years ago and finished the end of last year....., long overdue , and now , " It's High Time" ! With a different flavor to each song to show Ms. High's different taste of the music she loves.

The musicians gave her love  thru there performance of perfection to each song recorded. They are members of the ," the Sign of the Times"; also special guest musicians that put that extra touch to this high flavored Cd.

Martha High's actuality

Miss High, is still featured occasionally with Shaolin Temple Defenders also with Maceo Parker and  Pee Wee Ellis.

 2010, is the beginning of a new project with her band and backup singers. Each, are chosen by Martha, as she traveled and met each one different times and places while traveling in and around Europe. She has performed with the musicians several times within the past two years finally, the chemistry was there to start performing her latest released songs from her new CD," It's High Time" , and of course songs of tribute to Mr. Brown with  a touch of the old school funk and soul. She 's taken sometime to prepare for the upcoming tours and a lot of rehearsing with the band. 

We are looking for all of Martha's friends and family to stay tuned because ; "It's High Time " !!

We are more than glad to announce that Martha High  will be ready to perform the hotest soul funk live ,in 2010 in all of Europe!
The band is a combo of professional musicians who have been part of several Jazz, Funk and variety project. They all have performed with artist  from different countries in the past, so they united together to propose a show that Miss High, has always wanted to give with her own choice of singers and funky musicians.
